Barry the Bug

Barry was a beetle bug

He had a house with tiny rugs

All the time he'd walk the streets

To look for something good to eat

There came a day that Barry dreaded

He never wanted to be shredded

All of a sudden there came a thud

It crashed and burned right on Barry the Bug

This is a poem that I wrote in the 8th grade as part of an assignment. I know it's a bit harsh, but I liked it because I thought of it all on my own and it was a little catchy!
