The Poof!

Do you remember back when the "poof" came in style?  (In my day in age) Well I do! It was way before "bumpits" came soaring into the world! I'd have to say it was around my junior year in college. You'll have to do the math yourself on this one, because it makes me sad to think about how long ago that was! Anyway, there were all different kinds of poofs poppin' up around campus. There was the regular poof in the front, the poof with the hair half back, and the poof with the ponytail! Of course all these poofs came in differnt sizes: baby poof, regualr poof, and the big poof! But these poofs were all natural baby! Well.........my friend Courtney and I decided one day that we were going to give each other a poof! May I mind you that neither one of us had really ever worn a poof or done a poof, so we were a few newbies in the poof area! So here are a few results of that day!

You're wondering why our faces aren't showing, right?

One: We don't look very good in this picture.

Two: Courtney would kill me!

Like I said, they're not very good pictures! But let's take a look at this massive "poof" on my head.

That's about half of my hair bobby pinned all up top, trying to be a poof!

Let's compare mine to a hollywood bumpit.

I think my poof  beats that hollywood bump it! Take that bumpits!

Now for a side view. Can you say business in the front, party in the back?

I'll admit, my poof on Courtney is by far not the best poof on the planet, but at least I kept her out of the early 90's!

And now for the back view! It's official: That looks like a mullet! I wish you guys could see our poofs up close from that day! And the million bobby pins that are holding up that beautiful creation!

To conclude, Courtney and I did practice on the poofs and we did get better! But we usually rock a baby poof or a regular poof! Hollywood is just really not our style!

If you haven't done a poof before in your life, give it a whirl! But please stray from the mullet look!
